A WEXCR Racing Family – The Millers

Colten and Ryan Miller each race quads for WEXCR. Round 3 has some great stories from this racing family!

Colten rides a 2008 Honda TRX90 in the Mini Quad A 4 Stroke Class. He had a good start, but by the first corner of the track, competitors had shut him out and he headed into the woods in last place. He had trouble with his quad and had to pull over and was lapped during the race.

He was determined to finish the race, though. He came back and raced to the very end and put up a great fight, as he finished in 2nd place!

Colten likes racing WEXCR because of the woods, the different tracks each race, the competition and how friendly and helpful everyone is. He would like to thank his Dad, Mom, Brother and Sister for being his biggest supporters.

Colten’s brother Ryan races a 1998 Honda 300EX2 in the Youth Quad Advanced Modified class. During Round 3, he was passing a quad and hit a ditch that he didn’t see and flipped his quad. He flew off the quad while it flipped again.

Luckily, a track sweeper and his Dad were there when it happened and even though he didn’t want to leave his quad, he went to the medical crew for a check-up.

A trip to the hospital determined Ryan had a right clavicle fracture and goes back June 11th for a repeat xray.

Ryan would also like to thank his Dad, Mom, Brother and Sister for their support in his racing. He looks forward to coming back as soon as he is healthy again.
