Dakoda Sims Rides His 1st Season on a 250 at GNCC & WEXCR

Dakoda Sims is pleased with his first year racing a 250 in the GNCC B Lites Class.

“Florida was fun and I really liked the track and the enduro section,” he explained. “Georgia was going to be good until it started raining. I got a pretty good start but got stuck in some deep ruts the 1st lap, but otherwise it was good – I finished 6th in my class!”

There aren’t any crazy GNCC stories just yet, but Sims is sure something is bound to happen.

Sims got his bike on his birthday in February, so he didn’t have a lot of time to train and only rode the bike one time before he went to Florida.

This year for WEXCR, Sims plans to ride the B Lite’s Class and he would like to win the class and try to get a Top 10 overall this season.

Sims would like to thank the Lord above, his Mom for doing everything to let him do a sport he loves and his Dad for making sure his bike is ready. He would also like to thank all of his friends for cheering him on when he’s on the track and Tim Wood for having a great series.
