It’s unreal to believe that our season finale weekend is upon us already but we are ready to put 2020 in the books and move onto a bigger and brighter 2021 race season! Due to the unplanned season delays we experienced in the spring and crazy schedule modifications we had to make, we are pleased to announce that we will be fulfilling our 10 rounds of racing with another “Double Header Weekend” event on Oct 17th & 18th at “Constitution Ridge” located just outside of Belpre, OH! If you are not familiar with Double Header events, its basically 2 different points events held in one weekend! Its rare that we do these but we feel this is the best way to help make up events that were postponed earlier this season.

Constitution Ridge is full of racing history as many local races have been held on this property over the past few decades.  This track is full of tighter technical trails as well as a few faster paced trails and field sections. Its also a great facility for spectators as there is several areas to catch some great racing action within just a short walk from the pits. Since this is a double header event we have our work cutout for us in the track design department, we are working on layouts so you will have partially different tracks for Saturdays & Sundays events! It will not be the exact same track for all divisions or the same track reversed! Stay tuned for more info to be released soon…

For those of you that are chasing season points, remember the best 8 of the 10 rounds count towards series championships so you have 2 “throwaway” races this season. Things will really get interesting this weekend after these final 2 rounds as the “throwaway drops” will start taking place with the total season points!

This facility does have easy off the road access with level parking if you are planning on spending the weekend with us you can bring your campers or tents out on Friday (gates close at 11pm), as always there is no extra charge for primitive camping! Saturday night @ 6pm we will also be having another special “exhibition” event for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. These will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs. The track will consist of a small flat loop around our start area. This is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up or entry fee for this event, just show up on the start line at 6pm. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmets in order to participate!

Since Halloween is just right around the corner, all of you campers make sure you bring some decorations and stock up on the candy as we will be having a camper to camper trick or treat starting at 7pm for all the kids!!

This weekend we will be helping do a fundraiser for a local family that recently lost a loved one to cancer! Their family wanted to make sure that young kids never have to watch their parents suffer, so we came up with a fundraiser idea to help them sell shirts for $20ea. All money that is raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer!

On Sunday Oct 4th we will be hosting our 8th round of racing for the 2020 race season back at “Reno Raceway” located just outside of Marietta, OH! Reno Raceway is full of racing history as many local XC & MX races have been held on this property over the past several decades (42 years to be exact!). This track has a great mixture of technical and open faster paced trails as well a few rocky optional high climbs for the adult racers to test their skills! We have been very busy doing some trail maintenance, resurrecting some really old trails and bringing an old gnarly hill climb back to life for a optional “Pro Hill” for the adult bikes! Stay tuned for the new track layout mileage to be released soon…

The weather forecast looks great with the temperatures cooling down, we did receive a nice light rain shower all day on Tues which should make for track conditions to be perfect by Sunday! Henry the landowner has been busy getting the watering system all setup so we can prep the MX portion of the track to keep the dust to a minimum.

Its hard to believe but we are already to round# 8 of our season after the delayed start! Just as a reminder for those of you chasing season points we are counting the best 8 of the 10 rounds for championships! So after this round the drops will start to take place!

It seems like its been forever since we have raced and we are itching to get back at it this Sunday Sept 20th as we will be hosting our 7th round of racing at “Dynamite Valley” located in Chesterhill, OH! We are pumped to be back at this property again as it is always a crowd favorite for the racing and the beautiful surrounding scenery.  You all will really enjoy this new layout as it has kind of a old school style layout with some technical and challenging areas but yet still fun for all skill levels! On Sunday August 2nd we will be hosting our Rd#4 event at the “Black Rock XC” facility located in Sharpsburg, OH!! This is one of my favorite tracks and we are excited to be back here at this location after giving it almost 2 years off from racing and it has healed up quite nice! For the adult divisions, expect to see approx 7-8 miles worth of a great variety of tighter more technical trails, hill climbs as well as some fresh new sections that we are adding in for this event!

We are excited to announce that our 2nd round of racing will be held on SUNDAY June 21st at “Husted Hills” located in Amesville, OH!! This event will just be our normal Sunday race day schedule, it will not be a double header event like we originally planned!

We have a awesome new layout in store that should end up being approx 7+ miles for the adult divisions! During our racing quarantine I spent alot of time doing trail maintenance to a good bit of the trails and everything is in prime shape for this Sundays event! Many of the other great features will still be in the layout including the spectator favorite enduro-cross area, adult only optional prohill climb, new adult only optional creek jump, bike only single track sections and the easy/fast paced sandy MX portion of the track. Recently, Jeff the landowner has purchased a water truck so the MX sections will be freshly tilled and watered to make this section much more fun and help keep the dust to a minimum!!
