RACE SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!!!

On *Saturday* April 4th we will be kicking off our 1st round of racing for the 2026 race season at “Reno Raceway” located just outside of Marietta, OH! Since this is Easter weekend we chose to have this race on Saturday so our crew & racers could spend Sunday with their families.

Reno Raceway is full of racing history as many local XC & MX races have been held on this property over the past several decades (48 years to be exact!). This track has a great mixture of technical and open faster paced trails, mx section as well as a rocky optional hill climb & the famous “Duvall Hill” which is a crowd favorite! Recently Henry the landowner has purchased a neighboring plot of land which we plan to put a brand new single track section in for the youth & adult racers to enjoy! We have also done quite a bit of trail maintenance prior to this event and we have come up with a new layout for racers of all skill levels to enjoy for this season opener event!

We have made several changes over the winter to our classes, so make sure you check out this link for the full list of classes available for this season!

We are also making some changes to our Motomom & Pitbike racing format, which they will now be racing at every event this year and will be scored with separate overalls! Checkout the raceday schedule below for the changes!

Also in case you haven’t seen it yet, our online number reservation system is open until Wed April 1st at Midnight. So if you haven’t already reserved your number get it done ASAP! After the reservation system is closed, the numbers will be issued on a “first come, first serve basis” on each race day. Just as a reminder this does not “pre-register” you for a event, you still have to come to the yellow registration trailer with your helmet, signup forms and payment. Even if you don’t care what number you are assigned, please still go thru the process as this will greatly help speed up the signup process on our opening race day! The parking area at this facility has easy off the road access and there is plenty of room to bring in your toy haulers or campers in to make it a full weekend family adventure with us (reminder gates close at 11pm Fri eve so please plan accordingly) As always there is no extra charge for primitive camping and you all are more than welcome to stay Saturday evening also. It will be a one time purchase and as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!

Before starting your request make sure you checkout our available classes for the 2026 season & class rules to see this seasons class selections as we have made some revisions. Please review those pages to make sure you are entering the correct class when entering your information.

 When choosing your class for the 2026 race season please make sure you honestly choose the class according to your skill level, sandbagging in any class will not be tolerated at all. Everyone should be racing the same skill level based class no matter what series it is that you attend or no matter if the event is AMA sanctioned or not and no matter how many racers may attend a series.

A=A, B=B & C=C no matter where you race!

When completing your request make sure you follow the instructions and complete  **ALL** information fields, including emergency contact info.  If you submit a request with partial info and you provided us with a valid email, you will receive an email back stating that you must resubmit your request with full info which could cause you to lose your number if another racer is requesting the same number. Also when reserving your numbers, **you must give us 3 different choices** on the numbers that you would like, numbers can only be 3 digit or less, no letters can be added. Please don’t send a request with just one # or the same # for all 3 choices. Numbers will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, so we must have alternate numbers in case your first pick has already been submitted by another racer.

You can click on the “Season Number Availability” link below to see the numbers that are available in your race division. We will try to approve requests every couple days to keep this list current. If you don’t immediately get your confirmation email, please be patient and don’t send in another request. If there is a problem with your first request, you will receive an email back asking for a resolution.

The following racers have the rights to the numbers below based on their overall finishing position in their division from the 2023 race season. If you are one of these racers it is not mandatory to run these numbers, if you would like to run another number just let us know on your reservation form. If you are moving up a division, example: from peewee bike to youth bike or youth bike to adult bike, you cannot carry your overall number with you. This is just for those of you that are staying in the same division to defend your overall position. The following numbers are not available to any other racer even if the racers below choose a different race #.

All divisions will have a 8 round points race series for the 2026 Season. To be eligible for the season ending Championship Trophy and Prizes, you must race at least 7 of the 8 races in the same class and same division and complete at least 1 lap. DNF’s and DNS’s do not count towards the required 7 races for a championship. Class championships will be determined by the rider’s best 7 event finishes. So you will have 1 “throw away” race for 2026!

To start our fun filled weekend on **Saturday** September  27th we will be hosting our final points round of racing for the 2025 season at Constitution Ridge just outside of Belpre, OH!! Constitution Ridge is full of racing history as many local races have been held on this property over the past few decades.  This track is full of tighter technical trails as well as a few faster paced trails and field sections. It’s also a great facility for spectators as there is several areas to catch some great racing action within just a short walk from the pits.

Also this will be the final points round of our Pitbike & Moto Moms mini series, which will be on Saturday evening after the Adult Quads finish

Also we will now be having the strider/stacycs events around the starting line area right after the Adult Quads take off around 4:00pm, just on Saturday only! These will be special “exhibition” events for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. They will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs. The track will consist of a small loop around our starting line area and this is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up fee, (its FREE!) for this event, just show up at the start line area after the adult quads take off and await for instructions. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmet in order to participate!

So you will have 2 throw away races for 2025!

Pit Bikes & Motomoms will be having a 5 round points race series for the 2025 season. To be eligible for the season ending Championship Trophy and Prizes, you must race at least 4 of the 5 races in the same class and same division and complete at least 1 lap. DNF’s and DNS’s do not count towards the required 4 races for a championship. Class championships will be determined by the rider’s best 4 event finishes. So you will have 1 throw away races for 2025!

Please take notice if you move, change or are advanced by WEXCR to another class you do not get to take your current points or the number of races you have raced with you to the new class. Camping & Parking Guidelines!!!

This facility does have easy off the road access with level parking although the parking is split up into 2 different areas. If you are planning on spending the weekend with us you can bring your campers or tents out anytime after 5pm on Thursday (gates close at 11pm), as always there is no extra charge for primitive camping! Please check out the image below for camper parking guidelines. So help us conserve space, please make sure you park according to the guidelines shown below, if not you may be asked to move your setup.

On top of our regular points season race that is being held on Saturday we are going to be holding a team race for fun on Sunday the 28th! We have plans to have a little easier course laid out that will be fun for everyone at all skill levels can enjoy this special event with their buddies! It will not be the exact same track as Saturdays race.

For those of you that have never raced in a team race before, its the most fun you’ll ever have racing, that is if you have a fast partner, lol… The concept is pretty simple, find yourself a team mate of similar skill level (no sandbagging) and you can either share a machine or ride your own. If you cant find a team mate we are offering an Ironman class open to amateur racers only or if you are a pro you can enter the Ironman Pro Challenge and start on the last row!

On Raceday, just come to the registration trailer with your helmets and you will be put in your desired class under a team name of your choice. Both riders will have numbered stickers and transponders on your helmet for scoring. You will then need to decide who will start the race for your team and head to the starting line at the time for your division below. On the start line each starting team member will be given a special armband (don’t lose it!!) This start will not be the traditional start that you are used to seeing as we will be doing a Le Mans style start, basically you will run to your machine for the start and bike riders your partner will have to be holding up your motorcycle from behind.

Once the race is off and running your team mate will be in a designated impound area awaiting your arrival for a switch off, which you can do as often as you like just as long as you are within 1 lap of your partner at the end of the race. Remember that special armband, the rider that is out on the track must have this armband around their wrist or forearm at all times. When you decide to switch riders in the impound area you must also switch this armband, if you come through scoring and you do not have your armband you will not be scored for that lap, so make sure you keep track of the armband at all times and most importantly do not lose it!! You will race for the duration that is designated for your division which is found below along with the classes & team event rules. As you come thru the finish line on your last lap, you must drop off the special armband to our staff member standing at the track exit.

Basic Rules in addition to our general race rules:

• Each team must have two riders, teams can use 1 or 2 separate machines and in the event of a break down the team can continue on one machine if needed.
• Team racers must be on similar skill level, example you can be one class different but you must run the higher class, example a “B” & “C” rider can race “B” class together but they can’t run “C” class.
• Racers 30 or older can race in Vet 30+ no matter of amateur skill level, sorry no pro’s…
• Le-mans style start (run to your bike/quad) with 45 second offset between rows.
• You must exchange riders inside the designated impound area only which will be after the finish line.
• You must exchange the special armband to complete switch and you must finish the race within 1 lap of your partner or your last laps will be deleted to get you back to within the 1 lap range. (example if its a 9 lap race: 1 racer must do 5 laps & 1 racer must do 4 laps) (lets say 1 racer did 6 laps & 1 racer did 3 laps – 1 lap will be deducted as a penalty)
• Repairs and refueling must take place inside impound area only and only team members are permitted in impound area after the Adult race begins.
• If you are towed back into impound by track official/sweeper that lap doesn’t count, you can either repair your machine inside impound and continue racing or switch to your team mates machine.
• We are offering a Iron man class if you can’t find a team mate and the class is an open class to any amateur skill level, sorry no Pro’s. Although we do have a special Pro Ironman Challenge class which will start on the very last line.
• At the request of several racers we are offering a Father/Son class (any parent/child team configuration allowed) in our adult divisions – which youth racers with 80cc+ bikes and youth quad 250cc+ are permitted to race in this division with their parents on adult sized machines. The adult track layout will be fairly easy just longer than the peewee & youth layouts in the AM.

Brutus And Company will be onsite serving up their delicious BBQ for all our racers & fans!

We will be doing a couple of new things for this year’s doubleheader at Black Rock XC in Sharpsburg (8/16-17). Firstly, we are working on a “Night Menu” that will be available Saturday night that will include items like Pulled Pork Nachos and other “Bar Foods” to help you have a fun Saturday evening. Secondly, we will be taking pre-orders for family sized food packages that can be picked up at our trailer Saturday afternoon/evening so you don’t have to worry about cooking dinner. You can follow the QR code attached or stop by our trailer this Sunday to get more information for ordering for the Double header weekend. Peewee Bike & Mini Quad Classes = $25.00

Youth Bike & Quad Classes = $30.00

Adult Bike & Quad Amateur Classes = $35.00

Strider/Stacyc & Slow Race = FREE 

Saturday and Sunday are 2 different events, so above registration costs will be per event.

We do not have any membership fees & we do not require AMA cards.

Riders will be required to have a transponder which is used to record your laps and laps times when you come through the finish area. Our transponders are the stick on type which go on the back side of your helmet. The transponders are a one time cost of $10.00, sorry we cant rent them out per race. It will be a one time purchase and as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!
