Rd#10 & Rd#11 Double Header Weekend – Sat Oct 2nd & Sun Oct 3rd – Constitution Ridge – Belpre, OH

It’s unreal to believe but our season finale weekend is upon us already!

Due to the crazy weather that mother nature dumped on us half way thru our race day during Rd#5 & Rd#8, we have decided to add another points round of racing to help make up for the adult quad cancellations & horrible conditions during the adult bike races.

We ran several different scenarios of how to make up these races and the best solution was to hold another “Double Header” event for every division at Constitution Ridge on the weekend of Oct 2nd & 3rd! This is not a “Double Points Race” but it will be 2 separately scored events held in one weekend at one location!

Constitution Ridge is full of racing history as many local races have been held on this property over the past few decades. This track is full of tighter technical trails as well as a few faster paced trails and field sections. Its also a great facility for spectators as there is several areas to catch some great racing action within just a short walk from the pits. Since this is a double header event we have our work cutout for us in the track design department, we are working on layouts so you will have partially different tracks for Saturdays & Sundays events! It will not be the exact same track for all divisions or the same track reversed! Stay tuned for more info to be released soon…

This facility does have easy off the road access with level parking if you are planning on spending the weekend with us you can bring your campers or tents out on Friday (gates close at 11pm), as always there is no extra charge for primitive camping! Please check out the image below for camper parking guidelines and when you arrive on Friday and see the bottom of this page for track address & directions.

Strider/Stacyc events will only be held on Saturday afternoon after Adult Quads take off on starting line!

For this event we will just be having the Strider/Stacyc events on Saturday afternoon only, this will be on the starting line right after the Adult Quads take off which is around 3:30pm! This will be a special “exhibition” event for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. They will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs which will have 2 divisions 12″ wheel & 16″ wheel. The track will consist of a small loop around our starting line area and this is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up fee, (its FREE!) for this event, just show up at the start line area after the adult quads take off and await for instructions. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmet in order to participate!

Saturday Evening Activities!!!

Starting Saturday evening at 5:30pm we will also be doing another “Pitbike XC Challenge” race for some extra fun! This will be a 30min race to take place on a special track designed just for the pitters which will be marked by white/black arrows! This event is open to any adult racers or youth 12 or older on pit bikes and the following safety equipment is required: helmets, goggles, long pants and boots that cover your ankles. We will have the following classes available to choose from:
Pro – (open class) mods allowed – $100 cash prize to the event overall winner!!!
110 – 110cc max – stock only
50 – 50cc only
Entry fee is $25.00 and we have special awards for each of the classes plus a sweet overall award. You must come to the registration trailer to sign up and make sure you bring your helmet so we can check your transponder, if you don’t have a transponder they can be purchased for $10.00.

After the Pitbike XC Challenge event is done, we will be holding the Moto Mom “Rematch” XC Challenge event! We had our first ever Moto Mom event earlier is season at the Scenic Lake Double Header and they all had a blast! This will be a 2o min event race open for any moms out there that has kids that race with us and it is a open class race for dirt bikes with a 65cc 2 stroke & 125cc 4 stroke max limit! We will have a tamed down version of our pit bike track for you all to race around, so pretty much anyone should be able to get around it easily with basic dirt bike skills! After all that you moms do for our racers out there, we want to give back to you by offering the opportunity to race in this event for FREE, yup I said FREE! You just need the following safety equipment which is required: helmets, goggles, long pants and boots that cover your ankles. Just come to the signup trailer, fill out a registration form, sign a waiver and get some number stickers for your helmet, (no Transponder needed) and your ready to go compete in your race!! We have a special Overall Trophy for the winner as well as regular plaque awards for all participants.

Saturday and Sunday are 2 different events, so above registration costs will be per event.

We do not have any membership fees & we do not require AMA cards.

Riders will be required to have a transponder which is used to record your laps and laps times when you come through the finish area. Our transponders are the stick on type which go on the back side of your helmet. The transponders are a one time cost of $10.00, sorry we cant rent them out per race. It will be a one time purchase and as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!

2021 Season Championship Qualifications Clarification

In case you missed the announcements at Rd#9 The Mothman XC:

We have received quite a few questions on how the points will be affected by the additional race so I updated the qualification requirements and have them listed below as well as Ironman Award Qualifications!

We wish you all the best of luck on the final 2 races of the season and hope to see you all the weekend of Oct 2nd & 3rd at Constitution Ridge!!

2021 Season Championship Qualifications:

All Divisions will now have a 11 round points race series for the 2021 Season (except adult quads, see below). To be eligible for the season ending Championship Trophy and Prizes, you must race at least 8 of the 11 races in the same class and same division and complete at least 1 lap. DNF’s and DNS’s do not count towards the required 8 races for a championship. Class championships will be determined by the rider’s best 8 event finishes. So you will now have 3 throw away races for 2021! (except adult quads, see below)

Special Note for Adult Quads:

Due to the bad weather & cancellation of the races at Rd# 5 Husted Hills 2 & Rd#8 Black Rock XC, the Adult Quad division will now be the best 7 of 9 races for the 2021 series championships, so you still have 2 throwaways for this season!

Ties for year end class championships or other class positions will be broken by the most first place finishes throughout the season, if tied in wins, they will be broken by the best finish in the final points race of the season.

Ironman Award Qualification:

Since we originally planned for 10 points rounds this season, we are going to stick with 10 points rounds counting toward the Ironman Award Qualification for all divisions except the Adult Quads which will be 9 points rounds counting toward their Ironman Award Qualification!

Rd#9 – “The Mothman XC” – Sunday Sept 19th – Leon, WV

This Sunday September 19th, we will be hosting our RD#9 at “The Mothman XC” located in Leon, WV! We are excited to be able to bring you guys back to this track as this was a brand new track for us back in 2019 and it was a crowd favorite then! We have been very busy cleaning up some of old trails as well as adding alot of new sections!! This is a true Woods XC Race course with quite a bit of tight technical areas with plenty of nice elevation changes up and down the good ole hills of WV!! Make sure you check back on our social media pages for final track mileage later in the week!

The landowner had some land clearing done last year which opened up another 5+ acres of parking area so there is plenty of room to bring in your toy haulers or campers in to make it a full weekend family adventure with us (gates close at 11pm Saturday) There are areas that are perfectly level and others have a slight slop so make sure you bring some extra boards to help level your camper up. As always there is no extra charge for primitive camping. Make sure you pay close attention to the bottom of this page for the track address & special directions.

Directions Tip:

If you have a RV, pulling a camper or large box trailer and are coming from the north, ex. Parkersburg/ Marietta area. If your using a GPS or smartphone app it will more than likely direct you off of RT 87 unto Leon Baden Road or off of RT2 onto Bud Chatten Rd. DO NOT take either of these roads!! Yes it is a shorter distance but way rougher tight road, but its only a few minutes longer and a much better drive to continue towards Pt Pleasant and turn off onto RT 62 and follow it until you come to Debbie Rd and don’t forget to look for Red Arrows when you get near!

Rd#6 & Rd#7 “Double Header Weekend” Sat July 30th & Sun August 1st – Scenic Lake Raceway – Glouster, OH

The most anticipated event of the year, our Double Header Weekend is almost here!! We will be hosting our 6th & 7th round of racing on Saturday July 31st and Sunday August 1st at “Scenic Lake Raceway” located just outside of Glouster, OH!

If you are not familiar with Double Header events, its basically 2 different points events held in one weekend, as well as tons of extra fun outside of the jampacked days full of racing! This property is probably one of our all around favorites with its beautiful 20+ acre lake and scenery. The awesome track has a great mixture of faster open trails, tight technical areas and several adult & youth bike single track sections. There is several great spectator spots to watch the adult racers as they tackle hill climbs, creek crossings and a small creek jump all within a short walk from the pits! The Saturday & Sunday will not be the exact same track or the same track just reversed, this property has lots of potential for 2 tracks that will not overlap too much on both days! More details will be released later in the week once everything is finalized!

We will be providing the Smoked Pork BBQ & buns, we just ask that everyone bring a side dish or dessert with them as well as your drink of choice. You also want to make sure you bring your lawn chairs so you can hang out afterwards to listen to some live music by Tim Gowen!!

We will also be having at cornhole tournament going on at the barn, starting at 8pm, signups are $20 per team ($10 per person;), Winning team takes the cash pot & the runner up will receive a WEXCR swag package! This will be a single elimination bracket tournament, score of 21 or over wins game, 27′ front to front regulation, player behind front of board, we ask that you bring your boards and bags so we can get several games going at once!

Tons of activities going on for this event so this is one that you done want to miss out on!!!!

Camping & Parking Guidelines!!!

This facility does have easy off the road access with level parking although this is one of the smaller and spread out parking areas within our series. If you are planning on spending the weekend with us you can bring your campers or tents out anytime after 1pm on Thursday (gates close at 11pm), as always there is no extra charge for primitive camping! Please check out the image below for camper parking guidelines and when you arrive on you will actually enter the property using the exit road (marked red on map) which the regular entrance road (marked green on map) is a little tight for big campers. So help us conserve space, please make sure you park according to the guidelines shown below, if not you will be asked to move your setup.

Also if are just coming in on the race days and not camping, you will follow the regular entrance road marked in green. Space is a little limited for large box trailers, so if possible load up a smaller trailer or throw your bike or quad in the pickup truck to help save space and get ready for two more adventurous round with WEXCR in one weekend!!! Trimble Football Alumni will be onsite both days providing concessions for everyone, so make sure you stop by and get some great food and help support their local football league.

RD# 3 – Sunday May 30th – Dynamite Valley – Chesterhill, OH

Round#3 is almost here! We will now be hosting this round of racing at “Dynamite Valley” just outside of Chesterhill, OH this coming Sunday the 30th!! Due to the cancellation and rescheduling of Round#2 we decided it would be best to postpone our new track that was originally planned in Davisville, WV. This will allow us to have more time to get more new trails opened up and to provide a much better track later this season! We are still pumped to be holding this event at Dynamite Valley as it is always a crowd favorite for the racing and the beautiful surrounding scenery which is going to be great place to spend your Memorial Day weekend!! You all will really enjoy this new layout as it has kind of a old school style layout with some technical and challenging areas but yet still fun for all skill levels! Stay tuned for more details to be released soon…

The weather forecast looks great with the temperatures cooling back down to the 70’s and track conditions should be perfect! There is also plenty of great fishing to be done at several nice lakes on this property! So this makes for a nice place to do some camping and have some relaxation before Sundays race!!

Rd#2 Now Sunday May 16th “Husted Hills” – Amesville, OH

Since Mother Nature wouldn’t allow us to race on “her day” we are now going to be hosting round #2 at “Husted Hills” in Amesville, OH on Sunday May 16th!! Thanks to the great neighbors at Rolling Hills Farm which has allowed us to put in alot of brand new trails on their property for this event, we are gonna have one awesome track for you guys to enjoy!! If everything goes as planned the adult bike loop should be approx 8-9 miles long with a new single track only section that is around 1.5 miles long!! Many of the other great features of Husted Hills will still be in the adult layout including the spectator favorite enduro-cross area, optional pro-hill climb and a portion of the fast paced sandy MX track!

Since we couldn’t hold this race on the actual Mothers Day, we will still be holding a special drawing for the “Race Moms” to have a chance to win and to show thanks for your support and dedication to our racers. Whenever your racer signs up at the registration trailer, they need to tell the signup crew their mom is at the track and her name and they will put it on a ticket. One ticket entry per racer, per division, so if you have multiple kids that race 2 divisions then you can have multiple entries. Then we will be holding a drawing on the starting line at the start of each division race to determine the winner!

The parking area at this facility has easy off the road access and there is plenty of room to bring in your toy haulers or campers in to make it a full weekend family adventure with us (reminder gates close at 11pm Sat eve) As always there is no extra charge for primitive camping. RACE SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!!!

On *Saturday* April 3rd we will be kicking off our 1st round of racing for the 2021 race season at “Reno Raceway” located just outside of Marietta, OH! Since this is Easter weekend we chose to have this race on Saturday so our crew & racers could spend Sunday with their families. The positive side of a Saturday race is we all don’t have to rush home to get ready to go to work/school on Monday! So with a little extra time after our regular jammed packed Peewee/Youth & Adult division racing program ends we are going to bring you guys some additional racing action by having a Strider & Stacyc race & then we will be having a 30min Pitbike “XC Challenge Race” afterwards! Reno Raceway is full of racing history as many local XC & MX races have been held on this property over the past several decades (43 years to be exact!). This track has a great mixture of technical and open faster paced trails, mx section as well a few rocky optional high climbs for the adult racers to test their skills! We have been very busy doing trail maintenance and cutting in some new adult bike single track sections as we lay out a fun new track for this coming weekends event! Stay tuned for final track mileage to be released soon…
