Our most anticipated event of the year, our Double Header Weekend is almost here!! We will be hosting our 8th & 9th round of racing on Saturday August 16th and Sunday August 17th at the “Black Rock XC” located in Sharpsburg, OH!
If you are not familiar with Double Header events, it is basically 2 different points events held in one weekend, as well as tons of extra fun outside of the jampacked 2 full days of racing!

As far as this track goes, this is one of my favorite tracks when we have good weather ;) so far it has been very dry, so lets keep our fingers crossed! This track has a great mixture of some old school tight technical trails to challenge all our racers in all divisions! We have been busy adding in some brand new sections for Adult Bike only as well as some Bike & Quad shared trails. For this event we will also have a brand new technical bike only optional “prohill” as well as a quad only prohill which is just a short walk from the pits and this is always a spectator favorite at this track.

Since this is a double header event, we have our work cut out for us in the track design department, we are working on layouts so you will have different tracks for Saturdays & Sundays events! It will not be the exact same track for all divisions, or the same track reversed! Stay tuned for more info to be released soon once we get things finalized…
Also this will be Round #4 of our Pitbike & MotoMom mini series which will be held Saturday evening after the Adult Quad Race!

Also we will now be having the strider/stacycs events both Sat & Sun around the starting line area right after the Adult Quads take off around 4:00pm! These will be special “exhibition” events for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. They will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs. The track will consist of a small loop around our starting line area and this is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up fee, (its FREE!) for this event, just show up at the start line area after the adult quads take off and await for instructions. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmet in order to participate!

Seth from Wamco / L&W Distribution will be onsite all weekend giving out free cans of Wamco to the Holeshot winners in every line as well as the overall winners for both Saturday & Sundays race!

Tons of activities going on all weekend long so this is one that you don’t want to miss out on!!!!

Camping & Parking Guidelines!!!

This facility does have easy off the road access with level parking although the parking is going to be split up into 2 different areas once you come thru the main gates. The field to the right of the driveway will be for campers & box trailers only! If you are coming in a pickup or car you will be parking in the field to the left of the driveway. If you are planning on spending the weekend with us you can bring your campers or tents out anytime after 5pm on Thursday (gates close at 11pm), as always there is no extra charge for primitive camping! Please check out the image below for camper parking guidelines. Please park close to your camping neighbor so you help us conserve space, be considerate of others and please make sure you park according to the guidelines shown below, if not you may be asked to move your setup.

Just a reminder for those of you chasing season points:

2025 Season Championship Qualifications:

All divisions (except Pitbike/Motomoms) will have a 10 round points race series for the 2025 Season. To be eligible for the season ending Championship Trophy and Prizes, you must race at least 8 of the 10 races in the same class and same division and complete at least 1 lap. DNF’s and DNS’s do not count towards the required 8 races for a championship. Class championships will be determined by the rider’s best 8 event finishes. So you will have 2 throw away races for 2025! Exception will be the adult quad division which will now only have the best 7 races counting due to the weather cancellation at Horsepower Hollow.

Ties for year end class championships or other class positions will be broken by the most first place finishes, then by the most second place finishes, then by the most third place finishes, etc., until the tie is broken.**
