Postponed

Once again mother nature is throwing a wrench into the spokes of the WEXCR wheels!! In other words, due to the amount of rainfall we are currently getting & going to continue to get through Saturday. We are forced to postpone our Season Awards & Ride Day to Sunday October 31st at Husted Hills!

We totally understand that it may be a inconvenience & conflict to some but it also effects us in the same major way!

Don’t put away all your riding gear or winterize those campers yet as we have one final event for the 2021 season coming up very soon! On Saturday Oct 30th, Sunday Oct 31st, we will be hosting our 2021 Season Awards & Open Ride Day at “Husted Hills” located in Amesville, OH! Due to all the indoor gathering restrictions that were in place in 2020, we tested out this concept last season and everyone loved it compared to our typical indoor awards banquet! It’s a great day to come celebrate your season accomplishments, eat some great food and go out for some riding just for fun!!

Gates will open at 9am on Saturday morning, all attendees are subject to our normal gate fees & waiver procedures to enter property for the day, whether your riding or not. All season awards qualifiers and their immediate family (same vehicle) will receive a ticket to receive a complimentary BBQ lunch which will start being served around 12:30pm. Even if you didn’t qualify for season awards, you are still welcome to come join us for a fun day of riding. Unfortunately, we will not have a regular concession vendor onsite, so if you are not a qualifier and you’re just coming to ride for the day please come prepared with your own food and drinks.

Gate Fees:

**Gates Open Sunday Morning @ 9am**

Kids 5 & under are FREE

Ages 6-12 = $10 per person

Ages 13 & up = $15 per person

Open Ride Day Info:

Open Ride Schedule: 10am to 5pm

You all are welcome & encouraged to bring bikes or quads along with you and there is no additional charge to ride! This year we will have 2 separate tracks setup for you to come get some more seat time before the winter weather sets in. Since we have 2 separate tracks, one for the Peewee Division & the other for Youth & Adult Divisions there will not be any timed sessions this time, you are free to ride on the appropriate marked tracks as much or as little as you want from 10am to 5pm. Track maps are shown at the bottom of the page.

The Peewee loop which is open to up to 65cc max bike and 125cc max mini quads. This loop is marked with green arrows and is just a little over 1.5 mi long consisting of woods, gp fields & a little bit of the MX track.

The Youth/Adult loop which is open to all youth & adult division riders. This loop is marked with mixture of red and blue arrows and is approx. 3.5-4 mi long consisting of the moto track, GP fields & woods section all of which will be easy to navigate for any skill level youth or adult rider. We also have a Bike Only Single Track Section marked with Orange Arrows & the endurocross area will be open as an optional line with a bypass in place if you don’t want to go thru it.

There is just a few basic track rules that everyone must follow:

  • Every Rider must have a DOT approved full faced helmet, goggles, gloves, long sleeve shirt, pants and riding boots that cover your ankles.
  • You can ride as many laps or as few laps as you wish during the sessions but you must enter and exit the track in the designated marked areas.
  • You must follow the direction of the arrows and stay on the marked course, do not venture off onto the other trails on the property.
  • Remember this is just a fun ride, it is not a race! So please share the track and be courteous to other riders while out on the track.
  • Slower riders are asked to please allow faster riders to pass. The slower rider must take the first opportunity to move to the right when possible to allow the faster rider to pass on the left.
  • Bikes and quads can be out on the track at the same time and if you abide by the rules above both can be safe and have fun together!
  • And just like at our regular race events, pit riding is not permitted, you can only ride to and from your pits directly to the track at a slow and controlled manner!

We will also have a small turn track setup for our lil strider & stacyc kids to ride on throughout the day.
