2014 Season Opener “The Duck Creek Scramble” Logan, OH

Are you ready to bust out of the house and get back to some great WEXCR Racing action? If so come join us for our 2014 season opener @ “The Duck Creek Scramble” located just outside of Logan, OH on Sunday April 6th.

After this long & nasty winter of being cooped up inside the whole WEXCR crew is ready to get back to the outdoors and bring you guys another great season of the best XC Racing around. The track crew is already hard @ work cutting in some new fresh trails while working on a new layout for this event. We have a great variety of terrain to test the racers abilities to see who has been training hard & who has been keeping the couch warm over the winter break! This facility also has many great spectator areas just a short walk from the pits so you can watch & cheer for your favorite racer.

This facility does have easy off the road access with plenty of level parking, if you would like you can bring your campers out on Saturday and spend the weekend with us, as always there is no extra charge for camping. Please keep in mind it will be early April and its hard to tell what mother nature will bring us. So keep your eyes on the weather and please plan accordingly.

Rd# 1 Event & 2014 Season Title Sponsor AOMC.mx has some great prizes in store for every bike class winner for this event. They will be giving out $10 gift certificates to the peewee/youth & $20 gift certificates to the adult class winners, these are good toward any in store purchases at their shop. Also a $100 gift certificate will go to the top Amateur Overall Adult Bike Racer.

Thanks to GT Thunder the top Amateur Overall Adult Quad Racer will receive $250 worth of “Thunder Bucks” which is good for purchases toward any product from their shop.

Also we will be having Hole Shot Awards for every line in all bike & quad divisions from peewees to the adults!

Race Day Info:

Gates Open Sunday Morning @ 7am

Gate Fees:

Kids 5 & under are FREE

Ages 6-12 = $10 per person

Ages 13 & up = $15 per person

Racer Registration Fees:

Adult Bike & Quad Pro (Cash Payback) = $40.00

Adult Bike & Quad Amateur Classes = $25.00

Youth Bike & Quad Classes = $20.00

Peewee Bike & Mini Quad Classes = $15.00

Riders will also be required to have a transponder which is used to record your laps and laps times when you come through the finish area. Our transponders are the stick on type which go on the back side of your helmet. The transponders are a one time cost of $10.00, sorry we cant rent them out per race. It will be a one time purchase as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!
