Rd#8 *Saturday* August 24th – Tower Ridge – Belpre, OH Presented by: Bridgeport Equipment
As we kicked off the month with a weekend full of non stop racing at our Double Header event, we are going to bring you all another long weekend full of racing, camping & a fun team race to wrap up the month of August. On Saturday the 24th we will be hosting our 8th round of our points season racing at Tower Ridge just outside of Belpre, OH! This will also be our 4th round of our Pitbike & Motomom mini series which will be held Saturday Evening.
Then on Sunday we will be hosting a Team Race for fun to see who is the fastest pair of racers in the Mid Ohio Valley! For Details on the Team Race event click here!
Tower Ridge was a brand new property for us last year and it has only been raced on twice. There is still a lot of untouched territory here for us to do our thing as we bring you guys another awesome new layout! Expect to see plenty of elevation changes, a few tight technical areas, adult bike single track, as well as some faster grass track sections and an optional “Pro-Hill Climb” just a short walk from one of the parking fields!
The parking area at this facility is excellent with easy off the road access and plenty of level areas for campers. As always there is no extra charge for primitive camping and just as a reminder gates close at 11pm Fri & Sat evening. See the bottom of this page for directions to the track!
Also for this event we will just be having the strider/stacycs event on Saturday afternoon only on the starting line right after the Adult Quads take off around 4:00pm! These will be special “exhibition” events for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. They will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs. The track will consist of a small loop around our starting line area and this is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up fee, (its FREE!) for this event, just show up at the start line area after the adult quads take off and await for instructions. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmet in order to participate!

2024 Season Championship Qualifications:
All divisions (except Pitbike/Motomoms) will have a 10 round points race series for the 2024 Season. To be eligible for the season ending Championship Trophy and Prizes, you must race at least 8 of the 10 races in the same class and same division and complete at least 1 lap. DNF’s and DNS’s do not count towards the required 8 races for a championship. Class championships will be determined by the rider’s best 8 event finishes. So you will have 2 throw away races for 2024!
Ties for year end class championships or other class positions will be broken by the most first place finishes, then by the most second place finishes, then by the most third place finishes, etc., until the tie is broken.**
Please take notice if you move, change or are advanced by WEXCR to another class you do not get to take your current points or the number of races you have raced with you to the new class. So please choose your appropriate class as you could cost yourself a championship if you move or change during the race season.

We do not have any membership fees & we do not require AMA cards.
Riders will be required to have a transponder which is used to record your laps and laps times when you come through the finish area. Our transponders are the stick on type which go on the back side of your helmet. The transponders are a one time cost of $10.00, sorry we cant rent them out per race. It will be a one time purchase and as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!
