Rd#7 “Vincent Valley XC” Sunday August 3rd – Vincent, OH

On Sunday August 3rd we will be hosting our 7th round of racing at the BRAND NEW facility “Vincent Valley” in Vincent, OH!! Super excited to have this 200 acre blank canvas to layout another WEXCR original track for you all to enjoy! This track is going to be one that I think everyone will enjoy no matter what your skill level is, it will have a great mixture of everything from tighter technical, open grass track sections & lots of elevation changes! Stay tuned to our social media sites for more track details to come out later in the week!

Also due to the previous cancellation of Rd#3 of the Pitbike & Moto Moms mini series, we will be remaking it this Sunday after the Adult Quads race.

 

The landowner has setup a raffle for a Blackstone camping size grille with lots of accessories to help raise money for the Belpre Area Veterans, tickets are $5 ea or 3 for $10 and they can be purchased at our Merchandise Tents by sign ups and the drawing will be held at the start of the Adult Bike race at approx 12:45pm.

This event is presented by Osburn Offroad, they are southeastern Ohio’s Newest Gas Gas dealer! They are also dealer for aftermarket parts, accessories and gear for motorsport vehicles and marine equipment. Need Kenda tires? They’ve got you covered! They also sell parts and accessories for ATVs, UTVs, street motorcycles, dirt bikes, V-twins, snowmobiles, boats, and personal watercraft. They carry parts and accessories for all major brands including Can-Am, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, Yamaha, KTM, and Husqvarna. They will be onsite with their vending trailers full of parts and accessories if you need any last minute items.

Also we will now be having the strider/stacycs events around the starting line area right after the Adult Quads take off around 4:00pm! These will be special “exhibition” events for our little up and coming future racers that have striders and the battery powered stacycs. They will be broke down into separate events one for Striders and the other for the Stacycs. The track will consist of a small loop around our starting line area and this is not a competition event, its just for fun and to get our lil ones ready for future competition events when they can enter the peewee ranks. There is no sign up fee, (its FREE!) for this event, just show up at the start line area after the adult quads take off and await for instructions. All riders must have a bicycle style or full face helmet in order to participate!

The parking area at this facility has fairly easy off the road access and there is plenty of room to bring in your toy haulers or campers in to make it a full weekend family adventure with us (gates close at 11pm) If you are planning on camping, it would be very helpful to bring some extra “leveling blocks” with you as the parking area is not all 100% perfectly level. As always there is no extra charge for primitive camping.  So this makes for a nice place to do some camping and have some relaxation before the race!! We do not have any membership fees & we do not require AMA cards.

Riders will be required to have a transponder which is used to record your laps and laps times when you come through the finish area. Our transponders are the stick on type which go on the back side of your helmet. The transponders are a one time cost of $10.00, sorry we cant rent them out per race. It will be a one time purchase and as long as you don’t damage it, lose it or switch helmets. If you already have one of these stick on style transponders from any other race series, you are good to go as long as it passes the reader test at registration. Also there is no such thing as a “annual renewal/programming fee” with us!
