Season points poll has been closed, click here to see results

The points scale voting has been posted online for 1 month and it is now time to closeout the poll. The majority of the votes placed are in favor of the 25 points scale system so it will be in effect as of round#1 of our 2016 season!

Several times over the past few seasons we have received feedback from some of our racers that our current season points scale should be modified to offer more of a points gap to the top finishers in each class. We currently use a “20” points scale which basically separates each position by just one point, example can be seen in the image below. We have developed a potential new “25” points scale which would separate the top 5 finishers by 2 points each, which an example can be seen in the image below.

In our efforts to provide you the racers with the best XC race series in our area, we are going to give you all a chance to voice your opinion by placing a vote to determine which points scale you think would be best for our series. Whichever points scale receives the most votes will become the points scale that we will utilize for the 2016 season as well as future seasons. Keep in mind whichever points system is used, it will be the same for all classes that we offer and it will also be the same points system used to award overall points within each division.
